Dreamers Day Service

Dreamers is a Individualized Skills and Socialization or Day Habilitation program that provides adults with IDD with meaningful activities while giving them an opportunity for self-advocacy. 

Day Habilitation services help people with disabilities develop skills and independence. Services include community involvement activities, vocational training, life skills training, and health and wellness education. 

• Daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, communication and safety

• Social and life skills 

• Health and wellness education

• Creative and artistic skills

• Independence and personal choice

Dreamers get to do a wide variety of outings throughout the month. Some outings include... 

• Bowling

• Aquariums and Aquatic Centers

• Parks

• Restaurants

• Movies

• Libraries

• Rec Centers

• Shopping

• Amusement parks

On more lowkey outings we may have swimming or crafting as an activity.  Our main goal is to make sure everyone is having fun! We believe in providing individualized attention to each Dreamer to understand their unique interests, strengths, and needs.
